About Decker:
This year's Alaskan Juror is Julie Decker, Ph.D., is Chief Curator at the Anchorage Museum. She is the former director of the International Gallery of Contemporary Art, Anchorage. She has been an instructor of art history, art appreciation and literature at the University of Alaska. She also works as an artist and writer and has authored numerous publications on art, architecture and design of the North.

About the 2013 Juried Student Art Exhibition:
Running dates: April 16th through May 2nd.
UAA's student's most outstanding artworks as selected by an Alaskan Juror. Awards are given for demonstration of superior skill, creativity, and technique.

Call for Entries: Submissions Due Wednesday, April 10th between 10am and 7pm. Opening Reception: Tuesday, April 16, 5-7pm
Midday Reception: Thursday, April 18, 1:30-3pm

Gallery Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 10am-7pm
Fridays: 10am-5pm
*closed on Saturdays and Sundays
**There is never a cost for admission to view the Gallery!
